Abstract

An efficient allocation of network resources is necessary in order to ensure reliability and energy efficiency in 5G Wireless Ad Hoc Networks (WANETs), where factors like spectrum constraints, varying loads, and variable channel conditions have an important impact on the performance of the network. In this research paper, a new architecture called the Load Aware Greedy Resource Optimization (LAGRO) architecture is proposed for cooperative communication networks. The LAGRO architecture is based on the combination of the distributed topology formation and load aware resource optimization approach to choose the appropriate cooperating nodes according to the network conditions.Extensive simulations are conducted in evaluating the proposed architecture against the Conventional resource allocation approaches using multiple performance indicators. Simulation results are showing that LAGRO is maintaining 88.91% energy efficiency, 90.12% network throughput, 89.74% spectrum utilization, 27.84 dB SNR, 89.18% data transfer rate, 91.26% error detection rate, and 90.24% link operational reliability at 50% network load. under the 100% network load, LAGRO is achieving 79.48% energy efficiency, 80.54% throughput, 81.27% spectrum utilization, 23.84 dB SNR, 79.31% data transfer rate, 84.86% error detection rate, and 82.71% link reliability, while it is maintaining 52.46 ms delay and 17.31% packet loss.
